This year, for the first time, the internet marketing world is playing host to the first blogger festival ever - BLOGSTOCK!

To everyone in the digital marketing world, blogger events are as common as a cup of tea. We even run our own blogger events like ionFashion, but this one comes with a great twist; imagine networking in the most relaxed atmosphere, around a fire with music in the background and sleeping in a readymade teepee! Could the dream get any better?

Yes, this blogfest, taking place on the 8th and 9th of August, comes with an all-star line-up, featuring some of the greatest bloggers from the UK and around the world. With a huge mix of themes, this blogger event is destined to be one of the greatest blogger meets the world has ever seen.

Blueclaw has worked in the digital marketing sector for just over ten years, and in that time we have worked with the majority of the bloggers that feature on this amazing line-up.

Featuring a great fusion of personalities, there is an amazing mix of bloggers covering lifestyle, fashion, travel and much more. This event caters for the whole digital marketing world in one event.

When is Blogstock?

The event takes place on the 8th and 9th of August. The first session begins at 3pm on Friday, and the last at 4:45pm on the Saturday, but there is a happy hour and after party that will be worth sticking around for.

Where is it?

Blogstock takes place at Aldenham Country Park in Elstree in Hertfordshire, not far from the M25.

How to get to Blogstock

Use the A5, A1m or M1, make sure to look out for the brown tourism signs. If you happen to have a satnav, the postcode is WD6 3BA.

By Train

The nearest mainline train station is Elstree and Borehamwood, if you’re using the underground, take the Jubilee line and get off at Stanmore.

By Bus

The best bus is the 107 to Elstree Village, you can get the bus directly from Elstree.

Where to stay

Well, it is a festival! Camping is the main theme, you can even get a tent ready put up for an extra £20. What’s more, if you fancy it, there are also teepees available.

There are several hotels close to the event but being so close to London and with great transport options you could easily stay in London.

You can even bring your own camper if you have one! The only issue is the lack of electrical hook-ups, so you will need a fully charged battery.

Eating and drinking

There is no shortage of food stalls and some of the events even include food making sessions. What’s more, local pubs have great reviews for good old fashioned pub food.

Drinks are easy to come by, and there are loads of bars and stalls selling soft drinks. As with every festival however, you will need to make sure you have loads of water with you.

Every festival needs the smell of BBQ, Blogstock are happy for anyone to cook their own food.

Where to get your tickets

To get your ticket go to eventbrite and purchase it there. There are a few options, one includes a tent within the price, and don’t forget, when a tent says it’s for two, that’s not always true!

Blogstock is the first blogger event in the world to run using a festival theme, with some great speakers, amazing sessions and first class entertainment, it will no doubt become a yearly event. For more information about the event go directly to www.blogstock2014.com
