Content Marketing is quite simply the creation of engaging content in order to attract new customers online. For the past five years we’ve been undertaking Content Marketing for our clients through our belief that exciting, engaging and unique content will always help market a brand.
Successful content marketing initiatives encompass all the best aspects of creative online marketing to achieve SEO and cross-channel goals – earning priceless, high-authority backlinks, citations and social shares as well as nurturing positive brand perception, reinforcing key messages around products and driving traffic and conversions.
Online content can take many forms, from video to data-driven web applications, and from graphics to interactive maps, but we ensure that any approach we take is well-researched and evidenced to ensure success.
Our multi-disciplinary team encompasses a wide range of skills: from seasoned front and back-end developers, to creative digital designers, outreach specialists (inc blogger outreach), SEOs and well-connected Online PR practitioners.
Core to our content marketing philosophy is the concept of ‘Convergent Content’. This describes the process by which content aimed at improving organic search performance can perform cross-channel aims: from Social Media to CRM, and PR to Display Advertising.
We have a wealth of experience in understanding the core ingredients that make a successful Content Marketing campaign. Get in touch today with a Blueclaw content consultant.

Bees are an integral part of the ecosystem and remain a popular topic in the plethora of eco-friendly blogs and publications. Blueclaw recognised the potential to produce compelling content on this subject and working closely with Hartley Botanic, created the ‘Home Made Bee Hotels’ infographic, with creative input from award-winning writer, John Walker. The infographic details unique ways that consumers can build their own bee hotels from tin cans and wooden pallets, in a simple instructional format.
The graphic generated numerous quality links from key bloggers and online publications, also driving a significant amount of traffic to the site.

Recipe and cuisine is one of the most popular areas on the web – you need only glance at Twitter or Facebook to see pictures of tasty meals that friends are consuming.
To neatly tie in the industry of heating oil and online recipes, Blueclaw launched the #AgaInspiredRecipes campaign. This challenged bloggers to create recipes inspired by a seasonal ingredient decided by Rix each month.
Offering bloggers the chance to win a £100 Waitrose voucher each month for submitting their creations using the seasonal ingredient, the campaign has run for over 10 months.
Drawing over 80 direct links, hundreds of social shares and pushing Rix’s key terms up from the second page to the very top of the search results, the campaign, though small in scope, has proven a huge success.
