SEO Account Manager and Off-site Consultant roles at Blueclaw

It’s an exciting time at Blueclaw and we’re seeking several new team members to join us.

Established in 2005, Blueclaw is a fast-growing Search Marketing Agency. We hold three prestigious DADI Awards for SEO, Ecommerce and PPC respectively. Blueclaw also runs the highly respected ionSearch conference.

We’re on the look-out for Account Managers and Off-site Consultants of all experience levels. You’ll need bags of enthusiasm and passion for SEO and online marketing in general.

Here are further details of what we are looking for in both positions:

SEO Account Manager:

  • Account lead for a number of search clients
  • Build and nurture existing and new client relationships
  • Ability to create and present reports
  • Host and lead meetings both on the phone and face-to-face
  • Strategy development and account planning
  • Manage link acquisition strategies with the link-building team to ensure strategy is being implemented
  • Entrepreneurial with ability to understand and follow through on up-sell opportunities
  • Rudimentary knowledge of modern SEO and PPC best practices
  • Understanding of Link Building and what makes a good link
  • Ability to diagnose website and link profile health using suite of tools
  • Acute business acumen and ability to demonstrate ROI to the client
  • Project manage and ensure timely delivery of creative content pieces
  • Flair for the creative and ability to pitch content ideas internally and to the client.

Off-site SEO Consultants:

  • Flair for the creative and ability to develop content ideas
  • Knowledge and experience of using link analysis tools and automation tools
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Experience conducting keyword research
  • Very strong Excel skills
  • Some knowledge or experience of traditional PR practices is an advantage, but not essential
  • A solid understanding of social networks and how to utilise them to conduct outreach activity
  • The ability to identify valuable websites and blogs - using industry standard tools as required
  • The ability to identify and communicate with key online influencers - be they bloggers or webmasters
  • Knowledge of best practice link-building techniques
  • A willingness to explore new techniques and ideas - and share them with others.
