Robots Settings
  • Edit Robots.txt contents directly from the back end.

  • Fine control over URLs featuring a query string parameter: ability to set these to NOINDEX, FOLLOW or NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW as required.

  • Set a threshold for number of attributes that can be applied to a URL before it is set to NOINDEX, FOLLOW.

Canonical Tag Settings
  • Directly control Canonical tags for both Category and Product pages.

  • Ability to force a trailing slash on Category URLs.

  • Ability to remove or include Price filters from Category canonical tags.

  • Automatically insert rel=”prev” and rel=”next” pagination to page headers.

  • Option to omit the Canonical tag after the first page in any paginated series.

  • Option to omit the page parameter from the Canonical tag on paginated content.

Layered Navigation Optimisation
  • Toggle On/Off Clean URLs for category filters.

  • Automatically update page titles for both filtered and unfiltered categories.

  • Allows automatic inclusion of any number of parent categories in sub-category page titles.

  • Create a template to automatically generate category description text for use on filtered pages, using dynamic tags for page title, store name and standard category description.

  • Create a template to automatically generate meta descriptions for both filtered and unfiltered categories.

Attribute Control
  • Toggle inclusion of Attribute label in URL slugs on or off.

  • Choose whether a given Attribute should act as a suffix or prefix.

  • Override and specify Robots meta tags for pages filtered by this attribute.

  • Choose whether the link(s) to apply a given attribute should be followed or amended with rel=”nofollow” by default.

  • Choose whether the link(s) to apply a given attribute should be hidden from a user identified as a spider.

  • Control the URL slug and Title slug for each value of a given attribute.

Redirects
  • Automatically institute 301 redirects for category URLs accessed via an incorrect suffix.

Page Title Control
  • Option to enable automatic addition of Page Number to Page Titles for paginated content.

  • Option to enable automatic updating of Page Header to reflect current page for paginated content.

  • Allows for Page Title and Page Header to be edited separately in any given category.

Optimisation for Web Spiders
  • Option to treat any requests made without a site cookie as coming from a spider.

  • Allow any user with a specified list of User Agents to be identified as a spider.

  • Option to hide a site’s block of filters from any user identified as a spider.

  • Option to hide the ‘Clear Filters’ link from any user identified as a spider.

  • Option to hide all but the top level of your layered navigation from any visitor identified as a spider.
